BMW Motorrad has announced an increase in the prices of its motorcycles, effective from January 2025. As the new year approaches, select dealerships in India are currently offering discounts of up to Rs. 50,000 on the G 310 GS model.
The BMW G 310 GS has been available in the Indian market for some time, and the mentioned discount applies to the on-road price. For context, the on-road cost of the BMW G 310 GS in Mumbai is approximately Rs. 4.17 lakh. With the Rs. 50,000 discount, the price is reduced to Rs. 3.67 lakh. It is important to note that the available color options for the motorcycle may differ based on the stock at the respective dealerships.
The BMW G 310 GS is equipped with a 313cc single-cylinder engine
The Engine produces 33.5bhp at 9,250rpm and 28Nm of torque at 7,500rpm, paired with a six-speed transmission. The motorcycle features USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. Overall, the G 310 GS has established itself as a capable touring motorcycle, receiving positive feedback from consumers.
Nevertheless, in the context of the current 300-400cc adventure motorcycle market, the G 310 GS appears somewhat outdated and lacking in features. Competing models, such as the KTM 390 Adventure—which is also anticipated to receive significant updates soon—and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, among others, are priced similarly or slightly higher while offering either enhanced features, greater power, or both.
